Basics of Electronics & Arduino with Tinkercad

A four-day online workshop specially tailored for first-year engineering students to build a strong foundation in electronics and microcontroller-based systems.

Sep 23–26, 2025 11:00 AM onwards Online

Workshop Overview

Participants explored fundamental electronic components, Arduino pin configurations, sensor interfacing, LCD displays, keypad modules, and practical Arduino programming. Using Tinkercad simulations, students gained hands-on experience in designing, testing, and debugging virtual circuits.

The workshop included simulation-based mini-projects such as Traffic Light Control, Gas Detection System, and Digital Door Lock System, allowing participants to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.

Key Highlights

  • Fundamentals of electronics and Arduino UNO
  • Sensor and display interfacing (Ultrasonic, Gas Sensor, LCD, Keypad)
  • Practical Arduino coding on Tinkercad
  • Mini-projects based on real-life applications
  • Interactive sessions with guided practice
