Basics of Electronics & Arduino with Tinkercad
A four-day online workshop specially tailored for first-year engineering students to build a strong foundation in electronics and microcontroller-based systems.
Workshop Overview
Participants explored fundamental electronic components, Arduino pin configurations, sensor interfacing, LCD displays, keypad modules, and practical Arduino programming. Using Tinkercad simulations, students gained hands-on experience in designing, testing, and debugging virtual circuits.
The workshop included simulation-based mini-projects such as Traffic Light Control, Gas Detection System, and Digital Door Lock System, allowing participants to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.
Key Highlights
- Fundamentals of electronics and Arduino UNO
- Sensor and display interfacing (Ultrasonic, Gas Sensor, LCD, Keypad)
- Practical Arduino coding on Tinkercad
- Mini-projects based on real-life applications
- Interactive sessions with guided practice
