The year 2025 has been a milestone for our IEEE AP-S, MTT-S, and RFID Council Student Branch Chapter at Escuela Politécnica Nacional (EPN), as we officially launched the first tri-affiliated chapter of its kind in Latin America. This remarkable achievement marks not only the beginning of a new chapter for our institution but also a testament to the passion, resilience, and vision of our student community. I begin my message with heartfelt gratitude to our founding team, whose dedication and leadership turned an ambitious dream into a vibrant reality.

As I step into the role of President for 2025, I do so with immense pride and excitement. Our chapter stands at the forefront of innovation, driven by the energy and curiosity of our members. In the coming year, we aim to deepen our impact through three pillars: technical excellence, collaborative research, and regional outreach. We plan to organize bootcamps, project showcases, and competitions that will empower students to turn theory into tangible applications—bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world solutions.

IEEE has profoundly shaped my journey as a student and leader, and I invite each of you to take part in this shared experience of growth, service, and discovery. Together, we will continue building a legacy of technical innovation and inclusive leadership, not only for our university but for the entire Latin American region.
