The UW IEEE MTT-S Student Chapter is officially here
This chapter was created to bring people together again.
Research and innovation thrive when they are shared. For too long, academic work has become increasingly individual and disconnected. We want to change that. Our goal is to rebuild a sense of community where students, researchers, and professionals can learn from one another and grow together.
We welcome undergraduate and graduate students, along with industry professionals who want to stay engaged with the latest developments in microwave theory, antennas, radar systems, signal integrity, packaging, and related areas.
But more than that, this chapter is about getting to know each other. It is about understanding who our peers are, learning from the professors who guide and contribute to this field, and recognizing the impact they have made. When we are aware of what others around us are working on and why, we can collaborate more effectively and build something greater than the sum of its parts.
Through talks, workshops, and student-led initiatives, we aim to create a space that reflects curiosity, openness, and a shared sense of purpose. We believe that by building a strong internal community, we can have a stronger impact outward, on campus and beyond.
If this resonates with you, we invite you to be part of it.
